During a phone call with the Head of State, the Lebanese President expressed his condemnation of the Iranian attacks on the Emirates and sister countries

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from President General Joseph Aoun, President of the sisterly Lebanese Republic, during which they discussed the dangerous turning point the region is going through in light of the military escalation it is witnessing and its repercussions on its security and stability.

During the call, the Lebanese President expressed his country’s condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks on the territory of the UAE and a number of sister countries, stressing that they are a serious violation of the sovereignty of these countries and a threat to their security and stability, in addition to their violation of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

The two sides stressed the need for restraint, stopping escalation, and resorting to dialogue and political solutions to prevent the situation from worsening and the conflict expanding, which would put the region at a dangerous juncture of turmoil and instability.
