The transitional phase has begun in Iran… and we will announce an interim leadership council today

Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, announced that the transitional phase after the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in US-Israeli strikes begins today, Sunday.

Larijani said, “A temporary leadership council will be formed soon, and the president, the head of the judiciary, and a jurist from the Guardian Council will assume responsibility until the next leader is elected,” adding, “This council will be formed as soon as possible. We have been working on its formation since today.”
