Etihad Airways suspends its flights to and from Abu Dhabi until March 2

Etihad Airways announced that its operational operations will continue to be affected by airspace closures in the region, confirming the suspension of all flights to and from Abu Dhabi until two in the morning UAE time on Monday, March 2.

The company called on passengers scheduled to travel during this period to check the status of their flights on its website before heading to the airport, and to ensure that the contact information registered in their reservations is updated to ensure that they receive notifications regarding any changes.

Etihad Airways explained that passengers holding tickets issued on or before February 28, 2026, and whose original travel dates were until March 2, 2026, can rebook for free on flights operated by the company until no later than March 15, 2026.

She also indicated that passengers on canceled flights can request a full refund of the value of tickets through the company’s website or through travel agents, while those who booked through agents must communicate directly with their agents.

The company pointed out that it is currently witnessing a high volume of calls, which may lead to delayed responses to customer calls for a longer period than usual, stressing that the situation is still changing and modifications may occur to flight schedules in a short time.

Etihad Airways confirmed that it continues to coordinate closely with the relevant authorities, and will resume its normal operations as soon as conditions improve and allow it, stressing that the safety of passengers and employees remains its top priority, expressing its apology for the inconvenience and its appreciation for customers’ understanding.
