The young man, Karam Gharaibeh (14 years old), the son of the Syrian artist Anaheed Fayyad, known as the character “Dalal” in the series “Bab Al-Hara,” and former minister Muthanna Gharaibeh, died following a sudden death that shook the capital, Amman.

Amman National School mourned the deceased, who was one of its students, offering in an official statement its sincere condolences to his family and colleagues, praising his high morals and academic diligence, which distinguished him during his educational career.

The school published through its accounts pictures of the deceased from different age stages, addressing his family with poignant words: “With hearts filled with sadness and pain, we mourn the student, Karam Gharaibeh. He was a passionate student with a burning mind, burning the spaces between questions and answers. His intelligence was a shining blade that dismantled knowledge, and his mind was a restless metal workshop that grinded big ideas with a greed that exhausted his young days. Today we bid farewell to his density, which the walls of our classrooms could not accommodate, and we stand. Prisoners of helplessness in front of his seat, which has turned into a cold scar etched in the wood of our memory.”

The body of the deceased was carried to his final resting place in the Huwwara cemetery in the city of Irbid after the afternoon prayer on Saturday the 28th, in the presence of a large number of relatives, friends and people of the region.
