I intend to hold negotiations with Iran and they want to talk and I agreed

US President Donald Trump said he intends to hold new talks with Iran, according to The Atlantic magazine.

Trump added during a phone call with the magazine: “They want to talk, and I agreed to talk, so I will talk to them.”

When asked whether his conversation with the Iranians would take place today or tomorrow, Trump replied: “I can’t tell you that.”

He pointed out that some of the Iranians who participated in the negotiations during recent weeks are no longer alive. “Most of those people are gone. Some of the people we were dealing with are gone, because it was a big hit,” he said.
