The UAE summons the Iranian ambassador and hands him a note of protest against the Iranian terrorist attacks and assaults

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Reza Ameri, the Iranian ambassador to the UAE, and handed him a strongly worded protest note, informing him of the country’s condemnation and protest in the strongest terms against the Iranian terrorist attacks, stressing that targeting its territory is a blatant violation of its sovereignty, a threat to its national security, and a clear violation of all international conventions, resolutions, and norms.
Khalifa Shaheen Al-Marar, Minister of State, during the summoning of the Iranian ambassador, expressed the UAE’s categorical rejection of any justifications or excuses issued by the Iranian government regarding the aggressive escalation that targeted civilian sites, including residential areas, airports, ports, and service facilities, and exposed unarmed civilians to danger in a dangerous and irresponsible escalation without taking into account the clear position of the UAE, in which it affirmed not to allow the use of its lands in any military operation against Iran.
He stressed that these attacks contradict the principles of good neighborliness and the United Nations Charter, and also undermine the path of reducing escalation and peaceful solutions adopted by the UAE towards Iran, warning of serious repercussions on bilateral relations that will have a direct impact on all political, economic and commercial levels.
He stressed the demand that the UAE respect its sovereignty and stop these attacks immediately and unconditionally, stressing that the UAE reserves its right to respond with its full legal rights.
