Aerial photography and the operation of drones are permanently prohibited until further notice

Today, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior confirmed that aerial photography and the operation of drones are permanently prohibited during this period and until further notice, according to what was reported by Al-Qabas newspaper.
The ministry said in a statement, “In light of the current conditions that the country and the region are going through, and in order to support security efforts and ensure that field work is not affected, the Ministry of Interior confirms that aerial photography and the operation of drones are permanently prohibited during this period and until further notice.”
The ministry added, “It is prohibited to carry out any aerial photography work throughout the country, as this may have direct negative effects on the conduct of security procedures, disrupt field work, and affect the readiness of the competent authorities to perform their tasks.”
She stressed that this ban takes effect immediately, and all necessary legal measures will be taken without leniency against anyone who violates or transgresses these instructions, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in Kuwait.
