Fujairah International Airport operates charter flights in light of regional challenges

Fujairah International Airport, in partnership with Salam Air from the Sultanate of Oman, announced the operation of a series of charter flights as part of humanitarian efforts to support travelers wishing to return to their homelands in light of the current regional challenges.
These special charter flights are scheduled to operate via the city of Muscat on March 4 and 5, 2026, linking the Emirate of Fujairah to five major international destinations, including: Calicut, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Istanbul and Karachi.
The airport explained that reservations can be made directly through the official website of Salam Air or through authorized travel agents.
This partnership reflects Fujairah International Airport’s continued commitment to supporting humanitarian travel needs and ensuring the provision of safe and smooth services to travelers during critical periods.
The airport worked closely with its airline partners, ground services teams, and stakeholders to ensure streamlined operations and provide the highest levels of care to travelers throughout the repatriation flight procedures.
The airport continues its ongoing coordination with partners and stakeholders to follow up on travel requirements and respond quickly to any developments, thus enhancing its position as a reliable and flexible aviation center in the UAE.
