Emirates Airlines begins accepting transit passengers, provided that the next flight is operated

Emirates Airlines announced the continued suspension of all its scheduled flights to and from Dubai until 23:59 UAE time on March 7, due to the closure of airspace in a number of countries in the region.

The company explained that it continues to operate a limited flight schedule, giving priority to passengers who have previous reservations on these limited flights. Passengers transiting through Dubai will also be accepted for travel only if their onward flights will be operated.

Emirates Airlines called on travelers not to go to the airport unless they are notified directly by the company or have a confirmed reservation on these flights.

The carrier confirmed that it continues to monitor the situation closely, and will work to develop its operational schedule according to developments, noting that the latest flight updates will be published on its website.

It advised travelers to check the status of their flights, review the latest operational updates via the website, in addition to following their emails for any notifications regarding changes or cancellations before heading to the airport.

It stressed that the safety and security of passengers and crew members remains its top priority.
