Dubai Roads allocates 9 distinct numbers to vehicle plates as part of the “Noble Number” charity auction

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced its support for the “Noble Numbers” charity auction for distinctive numbers, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, at the Armani Hotel Dubai in Burj Khalifa on March 7, 2026. The proceeds will go to support the “End of Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” coinciding with the month of Holy Ramadan, to raise at least one billion dirhams to be invested in combating child hunger in the world.

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai allocated 9 distinct numbers for vehicle plates within the “Noble Number” auction, with the proceeds from the bidding on them going to support the “End Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation, which comes in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Save the Children, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, and Action Against Hunger.

The list of special numbers includes:

DD 6, DD16, DD 25, DD 30, DD 99, DD 100, DD 999, DD7000, DD 22222.

The auction will witness the participation of a number of prominent figures from various economic activities, charitable and public interest institutions, and generous people, who are keen to support noble humanitarian causes and establish a culture of giving in Emirati society.

Establishing a culture of giving

Charitable auctions contribute to consolidating the culture of giving and social responsibility, as the previous editions of the “Noble Number” auction witnessed a large turnout, as the fifth edition of the “Noble Number” auction for distinctive numbers in Dubai achieved a total of 83 million and 677 thousand dirhams to support the “Father’s Endowment” campaign, which was launched in Ramadan 2025 with the aim of honoring fathers by establishing a sustainable endowment fund, the proceeds of which are allocated to provide treatment and health care for the poor, needy and unable.
