Within a campaign "A known right 3".. Beit Al Khair Association succeeds in distributing one million and 42 thousand breakfast meals

Dubai, 5 March / WAM / The Beit Al Khair Society succeeded in distributing one million and 42 thousand and 116 iftar meals during the first half of the holy month of Ramadan, as part of the “Iftar for a Fasting Person” project included within the framework of its Ramadan campaign “A Known Right 3”.

Through this initiative, the association aims to distribute two million iftar meals by the end of the holy month, to support those who are fasting and to enhance the values ​​of community solidarity in the various emirates of the country.

Abdeen Taher Al-Awadi, Director General of the Beit Al-Khair Society, confirmed that the number of daily iftar meals has witnessed a noticeable increase since the beginning of the month, as the project was launched by distributing 66,861 meals per day, gradually increasing to exceed 71,000 meals per day.

He explained that this increase in demand and the increase in the number of beneficiaries in all the Emirates enhances the chances of achieving the declared goal and crossing the barrier of two million meals at the end of the month of Ramadan.

The Director General of the Beit Al Khair Society stated that the project is being implemented effectively through 99 distribution points spread across various regions of the country, in addition to 21 iftar tents.

Among them, Hor Al Anz tent stands out, which is the largest iftar tent in the country in terms of capacity, as it receives about 8,000 fasting people daily.

In conclusion, Abdeen Taher Al-Awadhi extended his thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of this humanitarian project, including institutions, supporting entities, individuals and volunteers, appreciating their great role in promoting the values ​​of solidarity and giving. He confirmed the continuation of the implementation of the “Iftar Fasting” project during the second half of Ramadan, calling for continued donations to expand the scope of beneficiaries and achieve the noble humanitarian goals of the campaign.
