"General athletics" Dubai Police teams participate in official competitions
Dubai, April 20 / WAM / The regular general assembly meeting of the UAE Athletics Federation approved the participation of Dubai Police sports teams in official competitions during the season, with the aim of encouraging national institutions to provide a stimulating environment for practicing sports activities.
During the meeting held in Dubai, in the presence of His Excellency Major General Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Murr, President of the Federation, and the rest of the members, the Assembly reviewed the proposed draft budget for the year 2026 and reviewed the administrative and technical reports, in addition to adopting a number of items on the agenda.
The attendees stressed the importance of the efforts adopted by the Federation to expand the umbrella of participation in various tournaments, initiatives and activities during the season, because of their positive impact in enhancing the spread of the game and its development, to keep pace with its growth on all regional, continental and international paths, to maintain the boom it witnessed during the previous and current sessions.
