Imposing entry visas on Iranians and persecuting Revolutionary Guard members in the country

The Lebanese government decided to force Iranian nationals to obtain entry visas to Lebanon, after they had been exempted from them based on the principle of reciprocity.
It also decided to prevent any activity of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in the country, verify the presence of its members, and arrest and detain them from the competent judiciary in preparation for their deportation.
Lebanese Information Minister Paul Morcos said during his reading of the decisions of the Cabinet session that the Council directed to verify the presence of members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in the country and to intervene decisively and immediately to prevent any security or military activity or action that they may carry out from Lebanese territory.
