During a call with the Head of State…the Prime Minister of Malaysia condemns the Iranian attacks on the lands of the UAE and countries in the region

During a phone call he received from Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, discussed the developments taking place in the region and the repercussions of the escalating military actions that threaten security and stability at the regional and international levels.

He condemned the blatant Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and a number of sister countries in the region, stressing that their continuation constitutes an undermining of regional and international security and stability.

For his part, His Highness the President expressed his thanks to the Prime Minister for Malaysia’s position in support of the UAE.

The two sides also called for an immediate cessation of escalation and military actions, stressing the need to return to serious dialogue and diplomatic solutions to address the outstanding issues and overcome the current crises in a way that preserves the security and stability of the region.
