The Gulf Cooperation Council expresses its solidarity with Bahrain and Qatar and condemns the treacherous Iranian attack

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, condemned in the strongest terms the treacherous Iranian aggression that targeted buildings in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain that house members of the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces participating in the Unified Maritime Operations Center of the Unified Military Command of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

He stressed that targeting facilities containing members of the naval forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries participating in the Unified Maritime Operations Center is an unacceptable hostile act that contravenes all international laws and norms, and reveals once again the escalatory approach taken by Iran towards the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The Secretary-General stressed that the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council stand united in the face of any threat targeting their security or the safety of their forces and vital installations, stressing the full solidarity of the Gulf Cooperation Council with the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar, and supporting them in all the measures they take to protect their security and sovereignty, reiterating that the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries is an indivisible whole and that any attack on one of its countries or joint forces is an attack on all of them.
