King Abdullah Medical Complex in Jeddah launches the “Care Link” project

The CEO of the Second Jeddah Health Cluster, Dr. Shadi Al-Khayyat, in the presence of the Director of Hospital Administration, Dr. Issam Qandiya, and the General Supervisor of the King Abdullah Medical Complex and the Maternity and Children’s Specialized Hospital, Dr. Samer Asra, inaugurated the “Care Link” project, one of the smart projects aimed at improving the beneficiary’s experience and enhancing the efficiency of coordination between health services, by establishing a smart and unified coordination office that connects the various relevant departments, which contributes to accelerating procedures, improving the quality of service, and providing more integrated health care.
The project comes within the framework of King Abdullah Medical Complex’s efforts to develop the patient’s journey, transforming it from dispersed services into an integrated and accessible health experience, based on effective coordination, continuous support, and careful follow-up at all stages of service provision, which enhances operating efficiency, raises the quality of performance, and allows continuous monitoring of improvement opportunities in accordance with best operational practices.

The “Care Link” project provides an integrated package of services that includes coordinating medical transportation requests, following up on referrals and appointments, home care services, and supporting the beneficiary, in addition to following up on the service journey from receiving the request until it is closed, ensuring continuity of care and improving communication channels with patients and beneficiaries.
The project bears the slogan “With you, step by step,” emphasizing King Abdullah Medical Complex’s commitment to providing a patient-centered health experience, in line with the objectives of the Saudi healthcare model emanating from the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, by improving the patient experience, raising the level of his satisfaction, enhancing the integration of services, and contributing to achieving the strategic objectives of the Second Jeddah Health Cluster in providing high-quality health care centered around the beneficiary.
