Abu Dhabi Judicial Council approves the registration of 22 new mediators to settle civil and commercial disputes.

The Committee for the Affairs of Experts, Conciliators and Mediators in the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has adopted a number of regulatory decisions related to updating the records of technical experts and mediators for settling civil and commercial disputes, as part of its efforts to enhance the efficiency of technical expertise and alternative solutions for resolving disputes, in line with the requirements of the sustainable development of the judicial system.
This came during the meeting held under the chairmanship of the Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, where the topics on the agenda were reviewed and the necessary decisions were taken regarding them in accordance with the approved controls.
The committee also approved the registration of 22 mediators in the register of mediators, after they passed the specialized training program accredited by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy, as part of the keenness to prepare qualified cadres capable of managing mediation operations efficiently and professionally, thus contributing to the settlement of civil and commercial disputes in an amicable and effective manner.
The committee approved the registration of a new expert in the roster of working experts, in addition to renewing the registration of five experts after they fulfill the prescribed conditions, in a way that enhances the readiness of technical competencies and supports the quality of technical reports submitted before the courts.
The committee also reviewed 14 applications submitted by a number of parties for registration in the list of brokers, and it was decided to complete the study of the applications and verify that they meet the approved requirements in preparation for taking appropriate decisions regarding them.
Counselor Yousef Saeed Al-Abri stressed that the committee continues to work according to an institutional approach that focuses on raising the efficiency of the expertise and mediation system, as it is a fundamental pillar in supporting complete justice and enhancing the confidence of customers. He pointed out that developing and qualifying specialized cadres contributes to establishing an advanced judicial environment characterized by flexibility and effectiveness, thus enhancing the competitiveness of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi globally.
