Our country was subjected to a brutal attack by a neighboring Muslim country that we consider a friend. We did not allow our lands or airspace to be used in action against it.

His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the sisterly State of Kuwait, affirmed that the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries is an indivisible whole, and any infringement on the sovereignty of a state in it is an infringement on our collective security.
The Emir of Kuwait said in a speech on the occasion of the last ten days of Ramadan: Our country has been subjected to a brutal attack by a neighboring Muslim country that we consider a friend, even though we did not allow our lands, airspace, or coasts to be used in any military action against it, and we informed it of this repeatedly through our diplomatic channels.
The Prince added: The sinful Iranian attacks that targeted Kuwait’s airspace, lands, civil facilities, and infrastructure, and which left 12 dead since Tehran began launching strikes on the Gulf states in response to the American-Israeli attacks against them, constitute a blatant violation of international norms and conventions and a blatant violation of their sovereignty, security, and stability.
The Emir stressed that Kuwait is capable of overcoming all challenges, and throughout our history we have gone through difficult stages and emerged from them stronger and stronger, more cohesive and more cohesive, and with a deeper belief that this country deserves a lot from us.
He added: Kuwait affirms its full and inherent right to defend itself in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter in response to this blatant aggression in a manner commensurate with the size and form of this aggression and to take all necessary measures to protect its lands, people and residents.
