The President of the State receives a phone call from the Prime Minister of Vietnam, during which he condemned the Iranian attacks on the territory of the UAE

Abu Dhabi, 9 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, today received a phone call from His Excellency Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, during which they discussed the dangerous developments in the region and their repercussions on regional and international peace and security.

During the call, the Vietnamese Prime Minister expressed his condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks targeting the territory of the UAE and a number of sister countries in the region and the violation of sovereignty, international law and the United Nations Charter, and a threat to stability and security in the region. He stressed solidarity with the state in what it is doing in defense of its sovereignty, security and the safety of its residents.

For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked His Excellency Pham Minh Chinh for Vietnam’s position in support of the UAE.

During the call, the two sides stressed the need to resort to dialogue and diplomatic solutions to avoid further crises in the region and to preserve regional and global peace and security.
