Egypt raises local fuel prices due to “exceptional circumstances in global energy markets”

The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum said it raised the prices of a wide range of fuel products on Tuesday, citing “exceptional circumstances in global energy markets” linked to geopolitical developments in the Middle East.
The Ministry added that it raised the price of gasoline 80 to 20.75 pounds per liter, gasoline 92 to 22.25 pounds per liter, gasoline 95 to 24 pounds per liter, and diesel to 20.5 pounds per liter.
