Trump threatens Iran with strikes “20 times harsher” if it closes the Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump warned that the United States would launch much stronger strikes on Iran if Tehran stopped the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump said in a post on social media: “If Iran takes any action to stop the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, the United States will hit it twenty times harder than it has received so far.”

He added that the United States may target Iranian sites that are easy to destroy, noting that such strikes may make it difficult for Iran to rebuild its capabilities as a country.

Trump concluded by saying: “Death, fire, and fury will come upon her…but I hope and pray that this will not happen.”
