Kuwait strongly condemns and denounces the attack that targeted the UAE consulate in Iraqi Kurdistan

The State of Kuwait today expressed its condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the attack that targeted the building of the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement broadcast by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today that this attack is a flagrant violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963 and other international agreements, and expressed the solidarity of the State of Kuwait and its support for the United Arab Emirates.
