"Islamic affairs" Contributes 4 million dirhams in support of the campaign "Umm Al Emarat Endowment for Orphans"

Abu Dhabi, March 10 / WAM / The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat provided a financial contribution of 4 million dirhams to support the “Mother of the Emirates Endowment for Orphans” campaign.

This campaign, launched by the Endowments and Minor Funds Management Authority, “Abu Dhabi Endowments,” comes within the framework of the “Year of the Family” and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” with the aim of establishing a sustainable endowment model that ensures the continuity of providing health care, education, and decent livelihoods for orphans.

His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al-Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, confirmed that this contribution aims to provide fixed resources to empower orphans and enhance their quality of life, in line with the state’s vision of building a cohesive society dominated by the values ​​of solidarity and compassion.

His Excellency explained the Authority’s commitment to supporting endowment and charitable initiatives in various financial, awareness-raising and guidance forms, pointing out that the endowment represents an essential pillar for sustainable charitable work thanks to the stability of its origin and the continuation of its giving across generations, which strengthens community cohesion and enhances the humanitarian and social impact.

His Excellency Dr. Al-Darai appreciated the continued support of the wise leadership for charitable initiatives, praising the initiatives and efforts of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, and her great interest in caring for the affairs of families and orphans to build generations that contribute effectively to the sustainable development process of the nation.

This contribution falls within the national vision of the campaign that seeks to transform community contributions into long-term endowment revenues that are invested in sustainable mechanisms to serve orphans and consolidate the foundations of a balanced society.
