The King of Bahrain ratifies and issues a law amending the unified system to extend insurance protection to citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council countries working outside their countries.

King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain ratified and issued Law No. (11) of 2026 approving the system (the law) amending some provisions of the unified system to extend insurance protection to citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries working outside their countries in any member state of the Council, after the approval of the Shura Council and the House of Representatives, which stated:

Article one

The system (law) was approved to amend some provisions of the unified system for extending insurance protection to citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries working outside their countries in any member state of the Council, attached to this law.

Article Two

The Prime Minister and the ministers – each in his capacity – must implement the provisions of this law, and it will come into effect from the day following the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
