Good rain falls in several areas in the Emirates

Several regions of the country witnessed rainfall of varying intensity, ranging from light to medium.

The National Center of Meteorology said, in a statement, that moderate intensity rain fell on Umm Al Quwain, Ghariba, Al Salamat in Al Ain, and Ghayathi in the Al Dhafra region.

He pointed out that light to moderate rain was recorded in the areas of Shamal in Ras Al Khaimah, Sabkha Butti, Haras Al Jazeera Border, Yu Al Nazra, and Bu Dhiyab in the Al Dhafra region, and Al Hamriya in Sharjah, in addition to Al Dakdaga, Khat and Al Burairat in Ras Al Khaimah, Habhab in Fujairah, and Asharij, Al Maqam and Al Aqabiya in Al Ain.

The center pointed out that light rain fell on many areas, including Al Rams, Al Ghab, Daya, and Al Huwailat in Ras Al Khaimah, Al Sela’a, the Falcon Reserve, Tarfa, Al Ruwais, Umm Al Ashtan, Al Mirfa, Madinat Zayed, and Habshan in the Al Dhafra region, in addition to Abu Al Abyad Island, Ghantoot, Al Rawdah, Al Bateen Airport, Al Rahba, Al Bahia, Al Mushrif, Al Shahama, and various areas of Abu Dhabi Island.

Light rain also included Dubai International Airport, Al Wasl, Jumeirah, Zabeel, Deira, and several other areas, in addition to Ajman, Sharjah International Airport, Helwan, Al Qarayen, Washah, Ibn Rashid, Mahafiz, Al Rigga and Wasit suburbs, Al Dhaid, Al Madam, and Suhaila in Sharjah.

Light rain also extended to Al Tawiyin, Al Muharraqa, and Masafi in Fujairah, and Sir Bani Yas Island, Falaj Al Mualla, Al Shuwaib, Al Faqa, Sweihan, Remah, and Al Markhaniya in Al Ain.
