From dawn yesterday, Tuesday, until midnight, the Armed Forces responded to a wave of hostile air targets

The official spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, confirmed that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces responded, from dawn on Tuesday until midnight, to a wave of hostile air targets that penetrated Kuwait’s airspace.

Colonel Al-Atwan said in a press statement that the air defense systems detected 5 enemy drones, which were dealt with and 4 of them were destroyed, while one drone fell outside the threat area.

He stated that the Army Chief of Staff confirms that the sounds of explosions heard in some areas of the country are the result of air defense systems’ interceptions of enemy air targets.

He stated that the Army Chief of Staff calls on everyone to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities.

He stressed that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces are fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and confront everything that aims to destabilize the country’s security in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.
