6 French soldiers were injured in a two drone attack in Iraqi Kurdistan

Six French soldiers were injured in a two drone attack in Erbil in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

The General Staff of the French Armed Forces reported that these soldiers are participating in anti-terrorism training with Iraqi partners, and that they were immediately transferred to the nearest medical center.

For his part, Erbil Governor Omid Khoshnaw said that two drones targeted a joint base for the Peshmerga forces and French forces in the Makhmur district of Erbil Governorate.
