We destroyed a plane used by Ali Khamenei at Mehrabad Airport

The Israeli army said on Monday that it destroyed a plane used by former Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport at night.

He explained that the plane was used by senior Iranian officials and military figures to travel inside and outside Iran, and to coordinate with allied countries.

Mehrabad is one of Tehran’s oldest airports, and currently serves domestic and regional flights. In addition to being the busiest civilian airport, it is also a dual-use facility that houses Air Force assets.
