King Abdulaziz House displays rare documents about the history of Saudi journalism

Published A collection of historical documents related to the writer Fouad Shaker, as one of the qualitative collections documenting the beginnings of , and reveals the features of the early relationship between the media and the state in the founding stages.
The collection includes documents extending from the year 1322 AH to 1392 AH, and includes official and personal correspondence, royal orders, press documents, and certificates of honor, representing living evidence of the making of media discourse early in the history of the Kingdom.

The Dara confirmed that this collection comes as part of its ongoing efforts to preserve national documents and make them available to researchers and those interested, noting that the donation of the owners of their documents and their transfer to a preserved and documented historical endowment contributes to protecting the national memory and enhancing awareness of its history.
The King Abdulaziz Dara renewed its call to everyone who keeps relevant documents, photos or manuscripts. Historical value led to the initiative to donate it to the House, so that it would be part of a nation’s memory preserved for generations and a reliable source for research and study.
The House continues to fulfill its mission of preserving the document, consolidating the impact, and granting history its right to survive.
