The Israeli Defense Minister announces the killing of Ali Larijani

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced today the killing of Iranian Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani and Basij Forces Commander Gholam Reza Soleimani in strikes carried out by the Air Force last night.

Katz said in a video statement, “The Chief of Staff just informed me that Larijani, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, and Soleimani, the commander of the Basij, the central repressive apparatus in Iran, were killed yesterday evening,” on Monday.
