The Israeli army announces the targeting of a leader in the “Jihad” movement in strikes on Iran

An Israeli military official confirmed on Tuesday that Israel targeted, in an overnight strike, the prominent leader of the Islamic Jihad movement, Akram Al-Ajouri.

The official said in a press briefing, requesting that his identity not be revealed, that Al-Ajouri, who is the commander-in-chief of the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the movement that is especially active in the Gaza Strip, “was present in Iran, where he usually resides,” noting that “we do not have any information” about the results of the strike.
