Today… UAE air defenses are dealing with 10 ballistic missiles and 45 drones

(March 17, 2026) UAE air defenses dealt with 10 ballistic missiles and 45 drones coming from Iran.

Since the start of the blatant Iranian attacks, the UAE air defenses have dealt with 314 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,672 drones.

These attacks led to the martyrdom of 2 members of the armed forces while performing their national duty, the killing of 6 civilians of Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, and Palestinian nationalities, and the wounding of 157 people with injuries ranging from minor, moderate, and severe injuries of Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, and Ugandan nationalities. Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comoros, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish and Tunisian.

The Ministry of Defense affirms that it is fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that aims to destabilize the security of the state, in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.
