المملكة: Al-Sharqiya Municipality concludes the “Good Housing” campaign with broad community participation
The Eastern Province Municipality concluded its participation in the “Good Housing” campaign, which was held under the slogan “Goodness is from us and in us,” as part of its efforts to promote humanitarian work and establish a culture Accompanying events.
Various activities in vital locations
The campaign witnessed the implementation of 15 various activities, distributed among a number of Vital sitesin the city of Dammam, which included setting up informational booths in the Othaim Mall and Westfield Dammam malls, in addition to participating in the Al-Qadisiyah Ramadan season and the Love Market Days festival, in addition to organizing the “Beit Al-Joud” event, which introduced visitors to the campaign’s objectives and support mechanisms, as well as providing a self-donation machine in the Westfield mall, which facilitated the donation process and enhanced visitors’ interaction.
130 male and female volunteers also participated in the success of the campaign, They provided qualitative efforts in organizing, raising awareness, and serving visitors, which reflects the spirit of giving and volunteer work that characterizes the Eastern Region community.
Supporting community initiatives
For his part, the Deputy Secretary of the Eastern Region for Services, Mr. Mahmoud bin Hassan Al-Rutwai, confirmed that the “Good Housing” campaign comes as an extension of the Municipality’s keenness to support community initiatives with a sustainable impact, noting that the campaign contributed to enhancing the values of giving and giving, and raising the level of awareness of the importance of community participation in supporting families benefiting from housing programs.
He added that the success achieved is the result of combined efforts between various entities, volunteers, and community members, stressing that the Secretariat will continue to support such initiatives that enhance the quality of life and achieve sustainable development goals.
Al-Ratwai praised the efforts of all partners, supporters, and volunteers, stressing that the “Jood Housing” initiative represents one of the inspiring models of community work that consolidates the values of compassion and solidarity, and contributes to building a more cohesive and sustainable society.
