The Dubai Events Insurance Committee completes its preparations for Eid Al Fitr

Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs, Chairman of the Events Security Committee in Dubai, Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, chaired a meeting to review the security measures that were taken to secure the Eid al-Fitr holiday, with the participation of police station directors, security heads in commercial centers and tourist sites, and members of the Events Security Committee.
Major General Saif Al Mazrouei and the audience listened to an explanation about the plan to secure Eid Al Fitr events, which included securing all mosques where Eid prayers are held in the emirate, and deploying patrols in all roads, vital and tourist areas, commercial centers, and open markets to enhance security and safety measures, reduce congestion and achieve smooth traffic flow through joint work and cooperation between the General Traffic Department of Dubai Police and its partners in the Roads and Transport Authority, who work side by side in all events. And occasions.
He explained that the security plan for Eid al-Fitr includes providing 677 security patrols, 37 land rescue patrols, 29 maritime security boats, 2 helicopters, 4 operating rooms, 145 ambulance points, 48 bicycles, 5 sea rescue boats, 208 civil defense vehicles, 55 marine transport vehicles, 7 control centers to monitor traffic and public transportation, 4 responder vehicles, and 24 small cranes. 106 trains, 14,000 taxi vehicles, 19,000 luxury limousines, and 1,300 public transport buses.
Major General Saif Al Mazrouei confirmed the readiness of the management of the Command and Control Center in the General Directorate of Operations to receive emergency reports 24 hours a day, and to work to ensure the arrival of specialized police teams as quickly as possible in response to urgent calls and emergency cases. He directed the public to call 901 for non-emergency cases and call 999 for emergency cases, and to use the “Police Eye” service in the Dubai Police smart application to report any observations or violations.
Major General Saif Al Mazrouei appealed to members of the public to adhere to the speed limits on the roads, and not to spoil the joy of the Happy Eid with high speeds, in order to avoid traffic accidents and the resulting serious physical, psychological and material damage. He also urged users of jet skis to stay away from places where families and people gather on the beaches or to approach them.
Major General Saif Al Mazrouei also appealed to beachgoers to exercise caution, focus and pay attention to children in beaches and swimming pools, and all public and vital places, in addition to stressing the need for users of bicycles and four-wheel drive vehicles in desert areas to exercise caution and drive with caution and attention without increasing speeds.
Major General Saif Al Mazrouei called on families and guardians not to allow their children to play and have fun with fireworks during the Eid, in order to preserve the safety of their lives, given the dangers of fireworks and the injuries they cause that may result in burns and various deformities that lead to permanent disabilities, in addition to causing the outbreak of fires that threaten the safety of lives and property, and cause material and environmental damage.
