Including Britain and France… 6 countries announce their readiness to secure the Strait of Hormuz

Major European countries said, in a joint statement with Japan on Thursday, that they will take steps to stabilize energy markets, stressing their readiness to join “appropriate efforts” to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.

The statement, issued by Britain, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Japan, condemned the attacks launched by Iran, calling for them to stop immediately.
