UAE air defenses deal with 5 ballistic missiles and 17 drones coming from Iran

Abu Dhabi, March 24 / WAM / Today, Tuesday, the UAE air defenses dealt with 5 ballistic missiles and 17 drones, coming from Iran.

The Ministry of Defense stated that since the beginning of the blatant Iranian attacks, the UAE air defenses have dealt with 357 ballistic missiles, 15 mobile missiles, and 1,806 drones.

These attacks led to the martyrdom of 2 members of the armed forces while performing their national duty, the killing of 6 civilians of Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, and Palestinian nationalities, and the wounding of 161 people with injuries ranging from minor, moderate, and severe injuries of Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, and Azerbaijani nationalities. Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comoros, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish and Tunisian.

The Ministry of Defense confirmed that it is fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that aims to destabilize the state’s security, in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.
