Dibba Al-Hisn Municipality announces that its teams have finished dealing with the effects of the weather condition

The Dibba Al-Hisn Municipality confirmed that its field teams had finished dealing with the effects of the unstable weather situation that the country witnessed recently, after intensive efforts implemented according to a comprehensive plan and around the clock, which contributed to preserving the safety of lives and property, restoring the flow of traffic, and returning the city to its normal state.

She explained that her specialized teams began their work from the first hours of the weather situation, as they were distributed according to well-thought-out plans to vital sites and areas most vulnerable to water accumulations, supported by a fleet of modern mechanisms, tanks and pumps designated for withdrawing water, which enabled them to quickly respond and intervene immediately in various locations.

The municipality stated that work teams were able to withdraw rainwater from streets and residential neighborhoods, and remove trees damaged and broken by the wind, ensuring the safety of the community and the continuity of services without interruption.

She pointed out that the field teams continued their intensive work in cleaning roads and public facilities, removing waste resulting from the rain, and rehabilitating the affected sites, which contributed to accelerating the return of life to normal and restoring the city’s cultural landscape.

Dibba Al Hisn Municipality Director, Talib Abdullah Al Yahyai, ​​confirmed that what was achieved during the weather situation reflects a high level of preparedness and coordination.
