Negotiations with Iran are going well. We may control Kharg Island and the oil

US President Donald Trump told the Financial Times today that it is possible to reach a ceasefire agreement with Iran fairly quickly.
Trump added, “The indirect talks between the United States and Iran, mediated by Pakistan, are going well.”
Trump indicated that the United States “may seize the oil in Iran,” adding that his country “may seize control of Kharg Island,” the oil export center from Iran.
When asked about the state of Iran’s defense on Kharg Island, Trump said: “I don’t think they have any defenses. We could take it very easily.”
According to Trump, the United States has “about 3,000 targets remaining in Iran. We have bombed 13,000 targets.”
Trump pointed out that “the number of oil tankers flying the Pakistani flag and allowed by Iran to pass through the Strait of Hormuz has doubled to 20 tankers.”
Trump explained that Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf “allowed additional oil tankers to arrive through Hormuz.”
Trump had confirmed earlier on Sunday that the Iranians very much wanted to reach an agreement.
