Saudi services exports rise 16.8% to 66.1 billion riyals
The results of Saudi imports from ServicesFor the fourth quarter of 2025 AD, about 119.6 billion riyals, a decrease of 3.2 billion riyals, by 2.6% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024 AD.
Exports of services
Travel services recorded exports worth 39.5 billion Saudi riyals, of which personal travel services represented about 92.2% of the total exports of this category. Moreover, transportation services ranked second with a value of 10.5 billion Saudi riyals, and air transportation represents about 40.6% of total transportation exports, followed by sea and land transportation in smaller proportions.
The value of government services amounted to 2.8 billion riyals, followed by other business services with a value of 2.6 billion riyals, while professional and administrative consulting represented about 51% of the total of this item.
According to the results: The value of communications and computer services amounted to 2.6 billion riyals. Automation and information amounted to 2.3 billion riyals, of which communications services represented about 51.4% of the total exports of this category, followed by computer services and information services in smaller proportions.
The total construction services amounted to 1.8 billion riyals, and exports of the remaining services were distributed among items such as financial services, manufacturing services, personal, cultural and recreational services, insurance and pensions.
Service imports
Saudi imports of services for the fourth quarter of the year amounted to 2025 AD, about 119.6 billion riyals, a decrease of 2.6% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024 AD.
Transportation services recorded the highest value of imports, amounting to 33.5 billion riyals. Maritime transport constituted approximately 45.6% of total transport imports, followed by air and land transport in smaller proportions.
Imports of travel services amounted to 25.2 billion riyals, while personal travel constituted approximately 93% of total imports in this category. The value of other business services also amounted to 17.5 billion riyals, and professional and administrative consulting represented about 54% of this item.
According to the results: The value of construction services amounted to 16.4 billion riyals, the total value of government services amounted to 6.4 billion riyals, and the value of insurance and pension services amounted to 5.2 billion riyals.
The rest of service imports were distributed among other categories such as: communications, computer and information services, Manufacturing services, personal services, cultural and entertainment services, and financial services.
