Hurricane Warning Levels
The authority issued a warning level "High risk situation"which is the second highest level of hurricane warning, after the hurricane was monitored near the city of Menasha, as it moved southeastward at a speed of approximately 64 kilometers per hour.
The hurricane continued to be monitored for no less than 20 minutes, before it crossed Lake Winnipego and disappeared over the waters, while the agency warned of the possibility of additional tornadoes forming as the storm continues to move south through the east of the state.
Power outages
The storms led to It led to a power outage for more than 20,000 subscribers in Outagamie County, which includes most of the city of Appleton, in addition to more than 12,000 subscribers in neighboring Winnipego County.
While the Menasha Utility Company reported that the outage may have affected the entire city.
Menasha Police confirmed that emergency teams continue to assess the damage, remove sources of danger, and respond to reports from residents, noting that no confirmed information has yet been received about deaths or injuries.
