Abdullah bin Zayed receives the Greek Minister of Defense and they discuss strategic relations and developments in the region

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Nikos Dendias, Minister of Defense of the friendly Republic of Greece.

During the meeting, they discussed the repercussions of the brutal Iranian missile and terrorist attacks targeting the UAE and a number of countries in the region on regional peace and security, their dangerous effects on international navigation, and the threat they pose to global energy supplies and the global economy.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan highly valued Nikos Dendias’ visit, which embodied the depth of the strategic relations between the two countries, and an affirmation of the full solidarity of the Republic of Greece with the UAE in the wake of these brutal and terrorist Iranian missile attacks.

His Highness and Nikos Dendias also discussed paths of cooperation and joint work between the two countries within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership that brings them together.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the depth of the established strategic relations between the UAE and the Republic of Greece, and the growth and development they are witnessing in all sectors with the support and sponsorship of the leadership of the two friendly countries.
