Kuwait.. A fire broke out in operational units at the Al-Ahmadi Refinery following a drone attack

The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said that the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery was targeted by drones at dawn on Friday, leading to fires breaking out in a number of operational units.

The corporation added, in a statement reported by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), that “emergency and firefighting teams have begun implementing response plans and are working to contain the fires and prevent their spread.” It explained that “no human casualties have been recorded,” and that it has “taken precautionary measures to ensure the safety of workers and protect facilities.”
