The number of arrivals to Dubai Airport exceeds departures

The Director of the General Department of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai said that the workflow at the various ports of the emirate is proceeding perfectly, and the number of arrivals through Dubai Airport exceeds the number of departures, which reflects the value and status of Dubai as a preferred destination for living, working and settling.
He added during an intervention on Radio Al Oula, commenting on inspection visits that included Dubai International Airport, the Hatta land port, and the violators and foreigners follow-up sector in the Al Aweer region, to see the level of readiness, performance efficiency, and enhance integration between the concerned authorities, that the integration of readiness between the air and land ports and follow-up sectors represents a basic pillar in supporting the security and stability system, and enhancing the quality of life in the Emirate of Dubai, indicating that investment in operational efficiency and institutional integration directly contributes to Consolidating customer confidence and supporting the emirate’s competitiveness at the global level.
He continued that developing the work system in the ports and follow-up sectors reflects the Dubai Residency’s commitment to translating leadership directions into advanced and sustainable services, based on innovation and proactiveness, and achieving a balance between facilitating procedures and enhancing community security.
He praised the efforts of the work teams and the spirit of one team among the various entities, stressing that the advanced levels of performance achieved reflect the professionalism of the cadres, the efficiency of institutional integration, and their ability to support the UAE’s vision of global leadership and consolidate Dubai’s position as a pioneering city in quality of life and government services.
Al Marri began his tour with a visit to Dubai International Airport, where he was briefed on the progress of work in the passenger check-in halls, and the level of operational readiness in managing travel traffic, which reflects the system’s efficiency in dealing with traffic density in accordance with the highest international standards, and enhances the traveler’s experience through fast, smooth and integrated services.
He also continued the tour by visiting the Land Ports Passport Control Department at the Hatta Land Port, which included halls for completing entry and exit procedures, in addition to inspecting the external cabins, which reflects the flexibility of operational operations and the smooth flow of passenger movement through the land ports.
The tour included a visit to the Violators and Foreigners Follow-up Sector in the Al-Awir region, during which he followed the progress of work at the Violators’ Accommodation Center and the mechanisms for following up on the conditions of residency violators, which reflects the system’s efficiency in managing cases in accordance with precise legal and regulatory frameworks that support societal stability.
He also inspected the operations room and viewed the digital systems used to follow up on cases and manage reports, which enhances the speed of response and accuracy of decision-making, and embodies the Dubai government’s directions towards employing advanced technologies to develop institutional performance and enhance the efficiency of operations.
