The intensity of rain is expected to range from heavy to very heavy, and may reach unusual precipitation, especially in the regions of Jizan and Asir, while precipitation amounts are expected to be around the normal rate in the rest of the regions.

Chances of Rainfall

The Center stated that the month of May continues to have higher chances of rain than The average for the regions of Asir, Jizan, Al-Baha, and western Najran, in addition to the south and parts of the east of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and parts of the western and central Riyadh region, with the intensity of rain expected to range from heavy to very heavy, while the amounts of precipitation are expected to be within the normal averages for the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.

He pointed out that the month of June witnesses higher than average chances of precipitation in the regions of Jazan, western Asir, west of Al-Baha, and the south and west of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, The intensity of rain is expected to range from light to moderate, while the rest of the regions are expected to record rainfall amounts within normal rates.

Rising temperatures

With regard to temperatures, the Center expected in its report that average temperatures would be higher than average in most regions of the Kingdom, with variations in the intensity of the rise, as the maximum rise is expected to reach about a degree Celsius in parts of the northern Eastern Province, the northern borders, Al-Jawf, northern Medina, the Hail region excluding the southern and western parts, and the Tabuk region excluding the parts. Western.

It is noteworthy that these forecasts come within the National Center of Meteorology’s ongoing efforts to provide seasonal climate information, calling for following up on its periodic reports and updates through its official channels.
