A poll crowns the most successful Turkish actress this season

Demet received this title as part of the Achievement Awards, which are given annually to the most successful people in various fields, including: business, entertainment, arts and media.
This award has a long history in Turkey, as it has been held for nearly thirty-three years, and has always attracted various Turkish and international media outlets due to its importance and its reliance on the direct audience vote, not on the decisions of the arbitration committees, which truly reflects the public’s attitudes.
Demet’s selection for this title was announced by the award makers, who published her picture and attached the following comment: “The most successful actress of the year: Demet Ozdemir. With her success, energy, and strong performance that she transfers to the screens, Demet Ozdemir has reserved a special place in the hearts of viewers, and she has been chosen by you, too, as the most successful actress of the year.” The star reacted to this, and left a brief comment with a loving heart.
This is not Demet’s first choice this year, as she previously won a number of awards and honors for her performance in the series “Ashraf’s Dream”, in which she co-stars with the famous actor Çağatay Ulusoy, during which they achieved tremendous success that placed it at the forefront of the Turkish works shown during recent seasons. It also topped the most-watched list for many months, amidst intense competition with other works such as “The Distant City.”
Demet’s great success comes as a continuation of a long series of excellence and success, crowned by a large number of works that have remained in the memory of Turkish drama fans. Last year, she won the “Best Actress in a Foreign, Non-Spanish-Speaking Series” award for her role in the series “My Name is Farah.” She was also chosen to be the inspiring actress for the year 2025, for the series: “My Name is Farah” and “Dream Ashraf,” and Demet began this year by awarding her the Best Artistic Personality Award with a Distinctive Style, within the “Elle Style Awards 2026” ceremony.
Currently, in the series “Dream Ashraf”, Demet plays the role of a girl named “Nissan”, who gets involved in complex conflicts, but the most important thing that distinguishes this role is that it shows Demet as a singer and an actress at the same time, as she plays the character of an up-and-coming singer, who wants to make her way but enters into conflicts within the “world of the mafia.” However, the most important thing is that her songs that she presents in the series are widely popular among Turkish singing fans.
Demet had surprised her fans and followers, who number more than 17 million people, by publishing a group of pictures of herself singing the wonderful tunes of Fairouz’s “Ya Anna, I, and You,” accompanying the pictures with a comment: “The person partially placed himself, and also his loved ones.”
