A phone for photography enthusiasts

Vivo announced the launch of a new smartphone, primarily targeting photography enthusiasts.

The Chinese company explained that its new “X300s” phone includes a 200-megapixel main camera with an f/1.68 lens aperture, in addition to a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.0 lens aperture, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/2.57 lens aperture, as well as a 50-megapixel front camera for taking selfies.

The telephoto camera provides optical zoom of 3x, and can be combined with an optional telephoto adapter to obtain a focal length equivalent to a 35 mm lens of 200 mm, or approximately 8x. The new smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, with a resolution of (2800 x 1260 pixels), with an image refresh rate of 144 Hz, while the PWM frequency is 2160 Hz to reduce flicker.
