Government schools call on students to update housing data to ensure accuracy of educational statistics

Government schools called on students and their parents to expedite updating the residential area data via the electronic “Guide” platform, as part of the Ministry of Education’s efforts to enhance the accuracy of educational statistics and update approved databases to serve development plans and improve the distribution of educational services.

School administrations confirmed, in simultaneous announcements described as urgent, and seen by Emirates Today, that updating data is an essential step to support school planning, especially with regard to organizing school transportation, determining student densities, and distributing educational resources according to actual geographical scopes.

She pointed out that the updating process is simple and takes less than a minute, but it contributes directly to raising the efficiency of administrative and educational work.

The schools explained that the updating steps begin by entering the website designated for the service via the “Director” platform, then logging in using the approved username and password. The user name is the “ISIS” number without letters, while the password is the “ISIS” number itself, with emphasis on the necessity of changing the password immediately after logging in in order to preserve the security of the information.

After that, the user selects the “Personal Data” section, then goes to the “Select Residence Area” option, and fills out the required data accurately, before pressing the “Save” button to complete the update process successfully.

School administrations stressed the importance of entering accurate and up-to-date information, given the relevant authorities’ reliance on this data in preparing official reports and making decisions related to educational services, stressing that the rapid cooperation of students and parents contributes to completing the updating process within a short period.

The schools concluded by urging all students to take the immediate initiative to update their data, stressing that commitment to this step enhances the quality of educational services and supports the Ministry’s efforts to develop the education system according to accurate and reliable data.
