Attacks on embassies and diplomatic missions reflect a defect in the security environment and represent dangerous messages

Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, confirmed in a blog post on the “X” platform that “the attack on embassies and diplomatic missions is not only a flagrant violation of international law, but rather reflects a defect in the security environment of the countries in which these attacks occur.”

He added: “What is being done by a small extremist group that is moving within an unacceptable agenda comes in light of the UAE hosting a large Syrian community that lives and works in safety and reassurance.”

He concluded by saying: “Dangerous messages that require clear resolution and full commitment to respect international law.”
