The State of Kuwait condemns the riots and attacks on the UAE Embassy and the headquarters of its head of mission in Damascus

Kuwait, April 5 / WAM / The State of Kuwait expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the riots and attacks that targeted the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates and the headquarters of its head of mission in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and the accompanying violation of the sanctity of diplomatic missions.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement today that targeting diplomatic headquarters is a violation of international law and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, calling for the perpetrators of these acts to be held accountable and to ensure that they are not repeated.

It renewed its full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and its support for its security and sovereignty.
