The Kingdom of Bahrain condemns the attacks on the UAE Embassy in Damascus
Manama, 5 April / WAM / The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the riots, attacks and sabotage attempts that targeted the headquarters of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates and the headquarters of the Head of Mission in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and the accompanying unacceptable insults against the national symbols of the state, in flagrant violation of all international laws and norms.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain affirmed the Kingdom’s full solidarity with the sisterly State of the United Arab Emirates, stressing the need to protect diplomatic headquarters and missions and their workers in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, and expressing its support for the security and stability of the Syrian Arab Republic, and for the measures it is taking to hold perpetrators and transgressors accountable, in a way that preserves the established fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and enhances regional security and stability.
